100 Word Challenge #34 – Lachlan

Sinking Boat

I’m sitting in the boat fishing. Suddenly, I catch something big! Is it a mackerel? No, it is a shark! I hear this chomping sound. Suddenly I see water gushing in. “Where is the shotgun?” “There,” said Dad. I pick it up and boom, the shark is dead. But now I have bigger problems. I get the silicon to clog up the hole. No! We ran out. I grab the bucket and shovel out the water.  Dad yells, ” Let the flare out as I hear a helicopter.” Dad lets the flare go so we are saved but the helicopter is not here yet.

Trap Factory

Tip! Tap! Tip! I was all by myself in the Trap Factory, trying to find out a mystery. I stood on an old brick, these things started flying at me like a bird but faster. I was terrified, I heard  my breath and heart pounding hard. Nets and ropes came at me. I tried to run but where could I go? They froze because someone turned them off. I saw someone dressed up but didn’t see their face. They said, “Meet me in the town square.” That night I did. I sat on a chair, strapped to the chair, but where could I go?

The Giant Roller Coaster

I’m at home but where could I go next? I come up with a great idea. Movie World! I step into the large playground. Click! The bars go over me. I’m in the biggest roller coaster. Whaazam! We shoot down the rails with a frightened feeling in my tummy. I held on to the bars in front of me with all of my strength. I’m feeling better. Now I’m excited. Whoosh! Zoom! Kapow! I’m going on thousands and thousands of roller coasters. This is the best day of my life. I wish this would never end.

100 Word Challenge #34 – Grace

Musty scented mist filled the quiet room. My eyes squinted, my mind flooded with questions. What was it? What did it mean? Where did it come from? The hairs on my neck prickled, “Your wish is my command” called to me from what appeared as a teapot on the table. I edged closer. Yes it was a teapot. Leaning over I peered into the pot. “Your wish is my command,” echoed again. “Who are you?” I murmured. I am the genie of the teapot. I will grant you a trip. My breath caught in my throat. I had a wish but where could I go?

Boom

Boom! The volcano erupted and everyone scattered like rats when you find their secret hiding place. The air was filled with thick smoke. The lava ran down the side of the volcano like we were playing tiggy and the lava was targeting our beautiful town. Fear was in the air and I was petrified. There were flaming rocks flying in the air. My mum and dad left me behind to save themselves. No one cared about me. Was this the end for me? A lonely 7 year old child. Anyway, I’d better run. But where could I go?

My Lucky Win

I can hear the postman riding away into the distance. I open the mail box, to find a golden envelope. I grasp it excitedly wondering what it could be. There, held in my hand was a golden cheque shining as bright as the North Star on a moonless night. It says in big and bold writing, You are the lucky winner of 1 million dollars. Tears of joy start plummeting down my face. I can almost smell the happiness floating in the air around me. Questions start flying around in my head, but where could I go?

The Haunted House

The moon shone bright as I walked to the front of the haunted house. I knocked on the door and the door opened. I could see nobody around, all I could see were spiders and webs. The door slammed behind by back, I was all alone in the dark but where could I go? I walked forward and crept through the house and I heard a voice. I hid behind the wall. It was a young girl that looked the same age as me. She looked through me like I wasn’t even there. She started to show me what happened to her……………..

One Sunny Beach

Crunch! That was the sound of hard little grains of sand. I was marching on the sand and I was wondering, ‘But where could I go?” I was thinking of places but it finally hit me, I wanted to go to Mars. It’s not impossible so I might give it a try. I ran home and made a spaceship. I blasted up into space and I realised that I forgot my spacesuit. I was floating up in the air like a balloon. Then there was a weird looking thing on Mars. I didn’t know what it was but then I realised it was an ……..

My Digital Footprint – Tristan

I learnt that digital footprints are everywhere. Even before I was born there were digital footprints of me on the internet and in folders for a hospital. As you get older digital information of you spreads without you even knowing how much is going around the internet. Sites like Moshi Monsters ask for age, D.O.B credit card information and more. When you get older and get married that goes on the internet too. Digital footprints are everywhere without you even knowing it.
